The Polly Bed - an exam bed designed exclusively for breast imaging. The photo at right gives you a sneak peek at the upholstery color - very pink.
Jason & I have worked together to gather information to create a bed that helps the sonographer position their patient in the optimal position for breast scans, while giving the patient a comfortable and secure bed. With electric height adjustment, 2 Power Wedge Sections, Electric Fowler & Trendelenberg, this bed will be a welcome addition to your exam room. Topped out with hidden stirrups and Ergo-Side Rails - which completes the bed for other exams you may be doing within that room.
I have named the bed after my great aunt, Polly Doyle Jones, a breast cancer survivor, and my Granny's sister. Cancer has effected all of our families, and we want to reach out with a great innovative product while giving back. With each bed sale we will make a donation to the Susan G. Komen foundation.
And since October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, what better time to unveil the Polly Bed.
If you are attending the SDMS meeting next week in Denver please stop by booth #212 to see the complete - HOT PINK - bed, it should be easy to spot in the exhibit hall.
